Marisa: “The fee isn't that high” I answered to my acquaintance on the phone. “Why don't you become a member too? We would be two strangers taking part to the forum. If you want to make a pause, you can leave one month or two pass by and pay again in the next one, when a garment you like will be sewed in the sew-along board.” “Oui,” was her answer. She is French but can write English a little bit. “But why are you writing and reading in an English Forum? Aren't there Italian or German ones?” “Of course there are, but none is like Patricia's. She is a nice woman, very patient with everybody. She can explain things very clearly, she answers every question and I can have a lot of help from her in any stage of my sewing. As for the pockets of the pants, or the front band which didn't close well. I like some of the women taking part to the forum. We are a strong group in this club.” She said that she is more or less a beginner. I just suggested her to give it a try. I am sure, that even a very beginner can put the parts of the garment together after having made a tissue fitting and if she has problems, Patricia would explain how to sew the parts and what to do next.
It is very interesting to hear how a body changes at a certain age...we are changing but that doesn't mean that we can't wear nice, fashionable cloths which fit us. This is a good forum for every sewer: beginner or not.
