I was wondering how many ladies have used the video’s here on Perfect Sew And Fit?

Yes, I ‘m a member of the Forum, I have used the videos (in particular the wrap dress/top ones) and found them to be excellent.
Comment made on April 14th, 2011 at 11:07 pmI’m currently in the midst of tissue-fitting a jacket, using the Elite Member Private Forum. Patricia’s help is invaluable and I highly recommend her forum and her videos.
I too an a member of the Perfect Fit and Sew Forum. I have sewn clothing off and on for forty year, but am amazed at the knowledge base one is afforded in this forum. Whatever you want to learn, or want to find a better way to do…you’ll find the video and support you need to accomplish any project. And as an elite member you have the opportunity for one on one fitting assistance. I absolutely recommend Perfect Fit and Sew!

Before I joined, I was never happy with any fit. With Patricia’s help, the fitting videos and the sew alongs, I have made several blouses that fit. Patricia is always there to help and I am extremely happy I am a member. Thank you Patricia!
Comment made on April 15th, 2011 at 9:49 amEven though it may seem that I have not used Perfect Sew & Fit…I do watch the videos and use the techniques that Patricia demonstrates, especially the fitting techniques for the shoulder and the FBA. Just knowing that PS&F is there, eager to help if I ask is a great boon. I am using the energy of the ladies of PS&F as I begin, with too much hesitation I’ll admit, to get back into the “sewing community”! Thanks so much Patricia for the videos where you use yourself as a model. Seeing it happen, step by step, is much easier that just reading about it. I think, for myself, that I would benefit from just participating in the forum, even if I do not post. And…big news flash…I am fitting my first pair of pants (in the past ten years)! By the way..have you all noticed the different places that PS&F is just mentioned all over the web? WoW!

Returning to clothing construction after a nearly 20 year hiatus, I am finally getting the results I want with Patricia’s fitting tutorials and videos. It is such a joy to know I will get help with my fitting questions and also individual assistance with my current projects, as Patricia studies and comments on my fitting photos. It is great fun to watch others progress with their projects and be able to encourage them and celebrate their success. Just like a group of friends getting together to talk sewing, but these friends are all over the globe! Come join us at Perfect Sew and Fit!

With her help, the videos, which I watch often and the other users, you know you are going to achieve a great fit. I also learn from other users fitting issues and it is nice to see everyones progress. Patricia is always so patient and supportive and no matter what your fitting issues, you know she is going to solve them for you. I would not hesitate to recommend this site. I personally would say that I have made more progress with my fitting issues since joining this forum, than I have made in the last 5 years!!
Comment made on April 17th, 2011 at 7:12 pmI was one of those sewers that would dust off the machine once every 5 years, make something that did not fit, and put the sewing machine back in the closet for another 5 years. Since joining this site over a year ago, my machine has never been put back in the closet.
I am shaped short, stocky, large busted, square shouldered, with a menopause midriff and tummy bulge. I have used the Forum discussions to keep myself motivated and to get advice.
I like that the instructional videos use a pattern that I can find at the local shop or on-line shop. It is like having a Sew Along with Patricia. Her camera angles are good to show you exactly what you need to see and each step is shot as a separate video, so you can do it yourself and then go to the next video.
My favorite thing I have done on the web site is the group Sew Alongs. It is fun to see how different the pattern can look with a change to fabric choice, color, trim, or hem length. I am always slow and fall behind the group, but the advice and support continues no matter how long it takes me to finish.

When I think of the hundreds of dollars I’ve paid and all the places I’ve traveled to try to learn what was right here all the time for only pennies! Patricia is excellent at what she does. I know, because I’ve been to some ladies that were trained to know the P&P methods Patricia teaches, but they didn’t. In fact, they asked my friend and I what we thought about each other’s fit. If we knew that, we wouldn’t have been there paying for their instruction!
